In 2022 we were accepted as registered hosts with an organisation called WWOOF, World Wide Opportunities On Organic Farms. They link volunteers (WWOOFers) with organic farmers and producers, in order to promote a cultural and educational exchange and to help build a global community, supporting ecological and farming sustainability. Whilst organic farmers and producers benefit from willing volunteers, WWOOF is invaluable in terms of the experience it offers to the next generation of organic farmers and producers.

WWOOF has grown from a small group in the 1970’s to a worldwide community. Their network currently covers approximately 130 countries with 12,000 hosts. Over the years WWOOF has gained a reputation as one of the safest and least expensive ways for people (particularly young adults) to travel.

We are grateful for the extra help during harvest 2022, and we made some great new friends, who we hope will return. We believe we have a lot to offer and would like to encourage anyone interested to learn more to get in touch and see how we might help each other.
