Another great day out in Dowding’s orchards is coming up, this time to celebrate everything Somerset!
Somerset Day is on May 11th and we will be open for both days during the weekend, from 10a.m. to 8p.m. The Somerset flag will be flying!
The ever popular Pitcombe Rock Falconry team will be on hand with a display of some of their owls and birds of prey, weather permitting. We will be raising money for them through a £1/adult entry charge.
We will have excellent hot food for you to enjoy, courtesy of a pop-up provided by the popular Somerset pub, The Kings Arms in Montacute. We harvest apples from the National Trust orchards in Montacute, and also at their Barrington Court House.
You will have the opportunity to wander amongst 15 acres of apple trees, some of which may be still in blossom.
