Open Farm Sunday weekend, June 7th / 8th
We will be opening our orchards for visitors on the upcoming Open Farm Sunday, but for us it will be a Saturday and Sunday event. The apples are now set and growing rapidly and you will be able to see the amazing developing crop on all the trees.
We will have our friends from the Pitcombe Rock Falconry joining us in the orchard with their rescued birds of prey. They will be with us from about 10am to 5pm. We rely on owls for pest control and the team will be explaining their work in rescue and rehabilitation.
Oliver’s nephew, Jack Dowding, will be bringing us one of his tractors and perhaps some farm machinery.
Dogs on leads are welcome. Parking will be in the field for those with limited mobility closer to Apple HQ which has an indoor toilet with wheelchair access.
Please bring a picnic!
The location is at Apple HQ, BA9 8JW. The entrance is adjacent to the Montague Inn car park and you will see the flagpole flying the Somerset flag.

Somerset Day(s)
We will be celebrating Somerset Day(s) owned the weekend of 10/11 May.
The news will be the Pitcombe Rock Falconry with their birds of prey from about 10 to 5.
Excellent food will be on offer from Bruton's Desi Cafe.
There should still be plenty of blossom to see, lovely walks in the orchards, and a great chance to chill out with some cider or apple juice. We will also be selling Mrs Browse's fine chutneys and jams.
Entry is free but we do ask that you make a donation to the Pitcombe Rock Falconry to fund their excellent work in rehabilitation of birds of prey.
Parking will be on the adjoining field. If you have limited mobility we will endeavour to get you a spot nearer to Apple HQ. Dogs are welcome, but please ensure they are on leads. We'll be open from 10 a.m. to 8p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
